“Mean Green Jelly Bean” - original drawing.
Pencil & acrylic paint on heavy 80 lb ’rag’ paper, tan toned Strathmore.
Art Area - 9” X 12”
Framed - 13.5” X 17”
Original art work. Pencil drawing on tan toned heavy 80 lb paper with white acrylic high-lights. Matted, and framed. This is the ‘name-sake’ of my last big art show at the world famous home of the low-brow art movement “La Luz De Jesus Gallery” in Los Angeles. The drawing depicts the supernatural guardian that I believed a tattoo on my art agent’s shoulder represented. A full explanation comes with the piece. Printed out and placed in an envelope on the back of the frame. It tells about how we ended up in the ER of the Kona community hospital, and how I had a harrowing 25 hours of sketching this creature over and over as my art agent struggled for his life, and how it all ended up as the theme of my art show.
